I'm ready for Mexico

I will be going to Mexico this Christmas with my parents and brother to visit some of our family that lives up there. I am excited to go and have a month vacation, before the spring semester. We will be going to Guanajuato which is pretty close to Mexico City. Also, we will be going to Acapulco which is very similiar but not as popular as Cancun. i think going to Acapulco is the best. I have been there before, and there is great entertainment there. There are casinos, beaches, lots of good seafood, alot of shops and malls, and a lot of music entertainment. I am excited to go to their Hard Rock Cafe over there which is really great. There are alot of clubs and tourist attractions there. There are also water sports and water parks. We will probably be there for two weeks and the other two weeks in Guanajuato. Guanajuato is cool too though, because i have alot of cousins there to hang out with, and we usually go on camping trips. I can't wait for the fall semester to be over, so i can be over there.

Kaka, Messi, or Cristiano Ronaldo?

Kaka, Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo are all very talented professional soccer players. What's unique about them is that they are all fighting to win the 2007 World Player of the Year award. FIFA chose these three finalists after going throught the shortlist of good players throughtout the year. Kaka, who is still quite young, is already going the win the golden boot award for the Champion's League title they had last year as he scored the most goals with ten. Messi has been playing very well. He is very young, fast, talented, skillful, and a huge goal scorer as many compare him with Maradona because of their height and same soccer style. He scored a hat trick in one league game and has been playing well as he is already considered one of the best soccer players in the world. I think he is 19 years old which is very impressive. C. Ronaldo has always been considered one of the best for a long time as he is also very young at the age of about 22 years old. He is very skillfull and likes to show off his moves and tricks in games, but what is most important is he led his team Man U to win the EPL league last year with himself scoring 17 goals. He also led them to the semi-finals of the champions league, until they lost to Milan with Kaka on the team. I think Kaka is going to win, as most people expect, but who knows.

Real Madrid loses to Werder Breman

In the European Champions League, Real Madrid recently played against strong German team Werder Breman. Real Madrid lost with a disappointing 3-2 loss. The two goals scored by Madrid were by Robinho and Nistelrooy. Nistelrooy, also one of my favorite goal-scoring soccer players, scored a marvelous goal by chipping the goalie and a defender in a very difficult angle and crowded space. Robinho's goal was a very well placed shot to the lower right corner. Werder Breman scored some pretty good goals as well, but i did not want them to win. I think Real Madrid could have played better, while the game seemed way too slow for each team. They will have to win against them in the second round to be better off in the tournament. Some teams that seem to be doing very well in the Champions League are Manchester United, Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Barcelona. I hope to see Real Madrid improve their game and win games so they can have a better chance at the tournament.

Liverpool vs. Fullham

I was watching Liverpool vs. Fullham play on tv this weekend. I thought the game was pretty good. Fullham had many shots and attempts to score, but just couldn't get the ball into the net. Liverpool played their usual tactics by touching and passing the ball numerous times before reaching the 18 to try to score. They like to play defensifly and keep the ball in the defense area and send long balls most of the time. it seemed that the forwards for Liverpool were just not shooting or getting any attempts. One of Liverpool's forwards had so many chances to score, but it was if the ball hated him, as he was so unlucky and did not score. Torres came in and scored a goal and later came a penalty kick from Gerard. the penalty kick was unfair as Crouch faked a trip by another player, but he actually tripped over his own legs. The game ended 2-0 as a win for Liverpool to fight for top positions in the table. At the moment, Arsenal is first with Man U second behind them.

Arsenal

Arsenal seemed to start off very slow, inconsistent, and showing too many mistakes in their first games of the season. Reasons causing this could have been because of the departure of Henry to Barcelona. Henry brought leadership and confidence and was a captain for the team, but because he left, it seemed that Arsenal was less confident and didn't have a superb striker on the team like Henry. Also, there were many injuries and problems with the club. For example, the club was deciding on keeping or firing coach Wagner because of the slow start of the season. Wagner has been coaching the club for many years now and even before star Henry signed to the club. Everything has changed now,though as they are in the top places in the league. They show great will and determination to win every game they play. They are also showing impressive talent from the veterans as well as the new and young players. They are scoring many goals and are being very consistent now. Also player Abedayor seems to be playing very well as he is the lead goal scorer on the team with many goals. He is scoring unbelievable goals and is now a starter for the team as well as one of the best players in the world right now. It seems that he is the new replacement for Henry.

Real Madrid dominates over Valencia

Real Madrid played a weak Valencia as they beat them with a humiliating defeat of 5-1. Valencia has had the weakest squad for a long time. They do not defend well and they mark their man very loosely. Real Madrid dominated in posession and they barely got the ball stolen from them. If they did , they were mistakes from their own team. They scored several goals after touching the ball many times. Goals were scored from Robinho,Sergio Ramos, Nistelrooy, and raul. Nistelrooy now has five goals in the league after scoring 2 in this game. The best goal was by Sergio Ramos in this game by an almost impossible shot from a very difficult angle.

Saw 4

Saw 4 is coming out this weekend. I have been waiting for this movie to come out ever since i saw Saw 3. I really liked the third movie, and i hope i like the fourth. The thing i like so much about these movies is ,there always seems to be a surprising or catcing moment at the end that makes it more confusing, until you think about it. Anyway, i am very excited about seeing it , and even though all the movies of Saw have been good so far, this probably should be the last one, because people will eventually get bored.

Guitar Hero

Guitar Hero is a video game for the ps2 that has actually been out for a really long time, but i had a chance to check it out a couple of days ago. My friend let me borrow the game and the "guitar". Basically, it looks like a real guitar except with buttons on it used instead of just a regular controller. This game is extremely fun. Although playing a real guitar is much harder, this game requires alot of practice, skill, and concentration to get good at it. I have been playing it alot lately, and i am getting better at it as i am now playing it at a medium level instead of easy. I recommend this game to anyone who is tired of the regular controller, and just wants to try something different. This game is kind of like the dance revolution game if you have played it except it is used with a guitar. Also, there is a guitar hero 2 game, and the third one will come out soon.

Chelsea Plays Fullham United

Chelsea played against Fullham United about two weeks ago, and i was just thinking about the game. Many, if not all, of Chelasea's starters are injured, so they had to play mainly with subs. It was still a good game though. An interesting fact about Fullham is that they have two american players who have brought a good role to Fullham. The game ended in a tie. Schevchenko had a couple of good shots and attempts, as well as Drogba who was so unlucky of how many tries he made to score. This has been a disappointing season for Chelsea.

Chelsea Manager Fired

Jose Mourinho(Chelsea's former manager) was fired after their game against Rosenburg in the Champions League. The game was a dissapointment for the players and the coach as they only managed to tie the game against a fairly easy opponent. The team was having several problems with injuries, technical problems, and their ability to win games. This has been the worst season for them in a long time regarding the regular season and the champions league season. In the regular season, they have lost many games,won a few, and tied too many. they are currently in 8th or 9th place when they should be in the top 3. I don't know who their new manager will be, but i hope it will work for the best of the team. Media says the Mourinho's magic has disappeared.

Champions League

The Champions League for European Soccer just started about two weeks ago. I am very excited about it this year as defending champions A.C. Milan will try to win again. So far, they are doing very well even though many of their starters are injured. They signed a couple of new players such as Ronaldo and others. I hope that Real Madrid does well also because that is my favorite team and i hope they win champions league.

USM Soccer club team

The soccer club team just started about two weeks ago and i just recently joined about a week ago. This is a club team of the University and really anyone can join it since it an intramural sport. So far, it has been fun and i really enjoy it. Soccer is my life and im glad to be able to do it on an organized team. There has been alot of people who have joined it. I got to meet alot of new people and i also knew alot of people that went to my highschool and played highschool soccer with. Also, i knew some people that come out to tatum park to play soccer. This is actually a little more serious than i thought. It seems to be well organized and everybody seems to be pretty good. We have been running alot and working on conditioning. Also, we have done alot of drills and also practiced on scrimmaging. It makes me feel like playing highschool soccer again except kind of on college level. A couple of people played college soccer at community colleges and only about 2 have played for a top division college and who got to southern now. This will bring alot of experience to the team. i think we will be pretty good as long as we keep it serious.

good deal

I just bought a Zune( which is kind of like an ipod) of ebay for a really good price. I was surfing for a zune on ebay and luckily i found a really good deal. It is completely brand new, and has never been taken out of the box. I bought it for only $65.00 as the highest bid. I think the reason that it only got up to this amount was because of the color. The color of it is brown with a green line on the side. The other colors that you can get are white or blue, which these are the popular ones. I guess alot of people didnt like the brown one, but i happen to like it alot. Anyway, it was cheap and i got a good deal.

The Bourne Ultimatum

The Bourne Ultimatum is a new movie out in theaters. It is the third movie of this collection. Before this movie, there was the Bourne Supremacy and the Bourne Identity. All these movies show intense action, fighting scenes, and a good story line. What i thought was interesting is that these movies actually come from the books. i found out on the internet that there actully five books made about "Bourne" . I assume they will make the next two movies since there are a totoal of five books. The name of the last movies are supposed to be The Bourne Legacy and the Bourne Betrayal, of course named after the books.
